I've finally validated most of my code to wc3 standards. By "most" I mean all the pages which I checked. This site now complies with xhtml transitional. The css also validates. You can go ahead and press that validation button at the bottom of each page to check for yourself. The complete list of changes I've made are as follows: cut the media page, fixed the header links, added the validation link, added the bottom background, fixed the visibility issues with the blog categories, added meta tags, and added google analytics.

As you may notice, I've finally integrated something blog-like into this site. I'm not entirely certain exactly what I'll be putting here, but I think its an improvement from the sloppiness of the previous index page. You can still see old one here.

Surprisingly adding this blog feature took a mere hour. Of course I had to code a bit to fix the template and will probably continue tweaking it over the next few days. Some of you more net savvy people may be wondering how I can blog without a php/mysql database (which bol.ucla does not offer); I'm able to do this thanks to "Thingamablog" which is a redeployable blog only requiring ftp access. The only drawback is the blog database is stored on your computer, which makes it difficult to post from computers other than your own.

I intend to use this mainly to record my updates and intentions for the site. Perhaps a few philosophical or school related posts at some point, but we'll have to wait and see. There is an RSS option to your right as well as some empty categories.
